Draw two connected bipolar neurons, label all of the parts of at least one of the neurons, and note on the diagram where input, integration (aka “the ballot box"), and output occur. Here are some other things to label: dendrites, dendritic spines, soma, cell body, axon hillock, nucleus of neuron, myelin sheath, axon, axon terminals, receptors.
b)Separately, draw and thoroughly label the synapse separating the pre- and post-synaptic neurons that you drew for a). You'll need to ‘zoom in’ a bit to clearly include all of the relevant structures.
