My topic is on Team Messaging and Communications Platforms.

Some of you were a bit concerned with the various formats of Works Cited (Appendix as I would call it, or anyone in the working world does).

Here’s the thing – I really don’t care about the format. If you like in-text citations, go for it. Footnotes/Endnotes – knock yourself out.

But at the very least, I want all your actual sources for the project as a PDF appendix. Website URLs are fine too, but attaching the specific pages is definitely the best – that way all the information is right there as I review.

This would be really typical in the nonprofit or public sector as well – making a recommendation on a platform or product, and then having your boss go back to all the same websites you just went to, doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s better to simply include those sites in the appendix so that they can review on the spot.
