1.Compose and create lyrics for one musical work on GarageBand that could compete on a commercial level.

That is, identify a ‘need’ for music to perform a function and create a work that could satisfy that need such as (but not limited to):

CHOOSE ONE:
Music for an advertisement campaign
Music for film / gaming
Music for a theme (TV, product etc.)
Music as commercial music for airplay

This composition will be a minimum of 1:30 in length. However, if the function of your music dictates a shorter work, additional ‘arrangements’ of your composition will be required in order to meet the total time.

This should include evidence of you singing, quantization, mixing (volume, panning, EQ and time-based effects such as delay, reverb etc.). (Total 1:30 of MP3[s])

2.Demonstrate research of the chosen style, genre or function. Present and discuss 5-10 examples of chosen reference tracks. (Total 5-10 with 3-5 sentences for each)

3.Document the creative process that went into producing a piece of music to fulfill this function, such as:

Tonality(Plug Ins/sound shaping)
Tempo
Duration
Instrumentation
Production techniques
