Memoir Discussion

1 - In what ways do each of the author's makes use of the "reflective standpoint" discussed in the lecture. Cite specific examples where you see this employed and tell me why you think it's effective.
2 - What makes Rizer's piece a complete piece of writing? What about its shape and structure let you know that the memoir is fully finished and that the reader gets everything she intended out of the story?
3 - While it's only a piece of King's larger book, what common threads do you see in the memoir selections? In what was does this feel different from a straight autobiography?
