1.Respond to below post flt I had a company that was a global organization, I think it would be a risk-based organization, for the sole fact that it is important to take risks and be bold while being able manage a large company and be successful. In my eyes if you do not take risks as an owner or partner in a global organization you will not be successful because if you don't take risks you will not be able to network and get the connections that you need to be profitable in your global organization. When you get into a large business, it is important to remember where you came from and never let the large business never get to your head. Using this approach when coming from nothing, you are able to be more humble towards the fact when your business grows on a global scale. It will be easier in the long run for you as an owner to make the moves you want to if you don't let the growth of the business go to your head/ego.

2.Supply chain management benefits come from being directly involved with business deals over the world. Thinking of creative ways to expand the business, some companies have the personnel and experience to come up with are pay for ideas. Analyzing deals to see if they are going to increase or decrease business is another part of the SCM that must be taken into consideration. After reading the chapter I feel that the most creative for the organization is the Cost of Forgoing a Trade discount. Everyone loves to save money and get the best deal. If a supplier is gives discounts for companies who pay their invoices in full I think it will have businesses paying on time and buying more product. The discount is an incentive that most likely will be taken. I know for me if a company gives discounts for paying earlier than expected or paying in full, I will take that in a heartbeat. Before the supplier gives out incentives like this their is a cost analysis done to see if it will be cost effective to give discounts. It is a way for suppliers to build a relationship witmu nies to give them the best deal possible while not losing any money.
