The teacher candidate will create a classroom management plan, explaining it in a paper describing a plan you will use to manage your own classroom. Please indicate for which grade level you are writing your plan for (K-5th Grade), and include meeting the needs of students from diverse backgrounds.
Your plan must include the following information and refer to the RUBRIC to address all elements:
- Model of discipline
- How you plan to communicate your behavioral expectations to your students and their parents
- Your rules, rewards, and consequences (if applicable)
- Strategies you plan to use when leading class discussions (including non-verbal communication strategies)
- Sample school emergency procedures to follow (research emergency procedures in the school in which you are observing for this component)
