and near the airfield is critical to the success of any airport. Daily inspections are a routine practice which
ensure safe conditions are maintained at airports of all sizes. Daily inspections at larger commercial service
airports are performed multiple times a day as high activity (aircraft/vehicles/construction) tend to wear on the
operating surfaces (taxiways/runways) and increase the probability for hazards when inappropriately
