Macro Project in Social Work

What is a macro project as it relates your agency? A macro project is a theoretical and critical examination of an agency policy or service delivery system. The purpose of the macro project is to utilize critical thinking skills in examining an “unmet need” or “felt difficulty” and how the agency can deliver better services to either it’s own staff or to the clients that you serve. In a nutshell, your project will attempt to bring about change in agency policy or program on a theoretical level. Ideally, you would be able to implement your macro project.
