Macbeth is a tragic play written by William Shakespeare in early 17th century. It tells the story of a Scottish general who is goaded by his wife, Lady Macbeth, into murdering King Duncan and taking the throne for himself. As-Saffah was the first Abbasid caliph, ruling from 750 to 754 CE. He was the son of Muhammad ibn Ali, a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. As-Saffah led the Abbasid Revolt, which overthrew the Umayyad Caliphate and established the Abbasid Caliphate, which would last for over five centuries.
