Listening Analysis

The first step in becoming a more effective listener is to look at the process of listening and determine where in that process—attending, understanding, remembering, evaluating, or responding--you break down. Tack hearing at the start and remembering at the end of the process, and somewhere in between is your weak link. Use the information above to describe an instance when you failed to be an effective listener.
