Sample Answer
1. Deciding to come out as gay
I grew up in a conservative community, and I knew that coming out as gay would be a difficult decision. I was afraid of what my family and friends would think. I was also afraid of being discriminated against.
But I knew that I couldn’t live a lie anymore. I had to be true to myself. So, I decided to come out.
It was a difficult decision, but it was the right decision for me. Coming out has made me a happier and more authentic person. It has also helped me to connect with other people who are LGBTQ+.
