    Leadership Theory Application Description of assignment: This assignment will provide you with the opportunity to see the relevance and application of theory to your practice. So often theory is disregarded as useless information, when actually, all nursing actions are based on some theory. In this assignment you choose any leadership theory covered in this week’s readings or the powerpoint, and provide one detailed example of how you would apply this theory in your current nursing position. The length of this assignment should be no longer than 2-3 pages of text, double-spaced, using APA format as appropriate. Be sure to include a title page and reference page. Part 1: Identify a leadership theory from your assigned readings for this assignment. In 1-2 pages or less concisely describe the main premises of the theory and provide some analysis. Find two outside journal articles or reputable websites that describes/applies/relates to this theory. Ideally when writing about theory, an original source by the theorist is best. Part 2: In 1-2 pages, provide a scenario you encounter at work and how you would apply this theory to you practice.
