  Four of the possibilities that have been suggested for recognising the Indigenous peoples of the Australian continent are: recognition in the Preamble to the Australian Constitution; amending the ‘race powers’ under the Constitution; negotiating one or more treaties with Indigenous peoples; and establishing an ‘Indigenous Voice to Parliament’. Of these four options, which do you think provides the most appropriate form of recognition for the Indigenous peoples of the Australian continent under Australian public law? Why?
