Please make sure the pages and all the page numbers are correct in the table of contents. It appears that the cover page, dedication, acknowledgement, abstract pages as well as the table of contents are not properly numbered (I believe it should be roman numerals.) Chapter III- the spacing seems to be off where the title is (chapter III). Chapter V- Findings, Discussion & Conclusion sections: Add more to the gender and SES findings because they are not consistent with the research on dropouts. In other words, my study found that gender and Socio Economic Status (SES) was not significantly associated with dropout. Other/Most studies/research find the opposite to be true. Mostly males dropout and mostly poor people do as well. Explain what is unique to Latino males how are they different from White, or Black males. Why could was this study results different for gender and SES? Recommend further research that explains the trajectories of Latino males to provide more information. Try to provide rational as to why my results on the association of gender and SES were not consistent with research. Why is it interesting? Suggest more investigation is necessary. Tie in all the findings. The rest of my findings were consistent with the research (all except gender and SES). Provide rational, which may simply be because this is a unique and changing population. Provide research/citations to support it. Conclusion & Recommendation sections: Go back to research questions and tie everything together. How does everything connect together? What is said in the research about dropout dynamics, what is unique, what is consistent. Go back to findings identify the things that connect everything together with respect to Latino dropouts and reasons for disparities. Include that further investigation is needed to explain unique population. In other words, there should be a thread that the reader can identify that ties everything together. One thing builds on another etc.
