KUB X-Ray in Renal colic

  Prepare a research proposal: Named “ Should KUB X-Ray be done routinely in the emergency department for all renal colic patients” This Research will be a Retrospective chart study done in the BDF Hospital in Bahrain. All hospital record of patient who came in the emergency with renal colic for the latter half of 2017 will be looked through. And then all patients who has a KUB X-Ray Will be selected. And within these patient a Radiologist will look at their KUB X-ray. To determine the number of patient who had a positive KUB X-Ray. And Depending on the number of positive X-Rays, we will determine is it necessary to order X-ray for patient with renal colic. The aim of said study is to decrease radiation to patient and decrease treatment costs for the hospital. NB: Please let references be quoted from Pubmed and https://www.cochrane.org
