Consider your current employer, or a former employer, and the design of your job. What were the strengths and weaknesses of that job design? Were there any alternatives provided to job specialization? Was there any form of a flexible work arrangement involved?
If you were going to create the perfect job design, what elements would it include, based upon what you have learned in the assigned reading? Would you include job specialization and/or alternatives to job specialization? Would you include any forms of flexible work arrangements and if so, what would it be?
