Japanese great readers

my teacher would like me to choose one Japanese great person who has influence and put impact

internationally ( tho the name of the class is great leader, teacher told me "great person" is more

accurate) and I chose Ichiro Suzuki, a former professional baseball player. What my teacher wants for

this assignment is that he wants me to write the person's life (from young to current, chronologically) and

at the same time i need to have a thesis statement too. therefore what I was thinking was that 1st

paragraph: introduction/thesis statement (saying something like "in this paper I'd like to clarify his life

backgrounds and how Ichiro has encouraged and inspired a numerous amount of people around the

world"). 2nd paragraph: this paragraph will be only about the background information about him

chronologically including awards he gained, any charity or volunteer activity (outside activity, not only

baseball) and how he is thinking towards the future so basically from the past to the future. 3,4,5th

paragraph: my teacher wants me to raise at least 3 reasons to support my thesis (how Ichiro impacted the

world internationally), it's up to you what reasons there are gonna be but I was thinking something like his

life philosophy towards life, his strict personality, the brilliant awards he's won…etc but anything is okay.

6th paragraph: I also need 2 citations from books, movies or articles. my teacher set one paragraph for it

which i think was unnatural cuz i thought usually citations are put whenever the writer wants to support a

idea or a thesis. but I need the citations here that are related to the topic. 7th paragraph: conclusion
