Invisible man journal

After reading the selection "Invisible Man," it would appear that open defiance was a dangerous approach to the troubling issue of race in the Jim Crow South. Is it therefore wrong to take the easy way out, if choosing any other course is going to mean that you get beaten into submission or even killed? Write a one and a half to two page journal in which you use the information from the "Invisible Man" selection to support your cliam(s).
