Analysis of Patient Response and Communication Style

Mrs. Carter presented as a tired but cooperative patient. She was able to articulate her symptoms clearly and expressed a willingness to learn about self-care strategies. Her concerns about her health and limitations were evident.

My communication style focused on active listening, empathy, and providing information. I aimed to create a supportive and understanding environment for the patient. There were opportunities to explore the patient's emotional state in more depth, which could be addressed in future interactions.

Note: This is a simplified example of a patient interview. In a real-world setting, the interaction would be more complex, and the nurse would need to adapt their communication style based on the patient's individual needs and preferences.
