Question 1 (60 points)
Below are links to four insurance ads. Watch them all. The thing in common between them is that all are using “humor” as the main theme. I want you to compare them. As
a viewer AND a student who is taking a course in Marketing, write a few lines about each ad (e.g., did you like it? Why or why not? Do you think the ad will work?).
Conclude with indicating which of these ads you think is better and why.

Bonus question (20 points)
Read this story about Domino’s pizza, watch the video, and then answer the question:
“At Domino's, executives knew all too well that their food wasn't good. Some of the comments they had frequently gotten from the customers included: "The crust tastes
like cardboard", "The sauce tastes like ketchup" and "This is an imitation of pizza." In consumer taste tests, if people knew the pizza was Domino's, they actually
liked it LESS than if they didn't know who made it. Domino's realized they had a serious problem if they didn't drastically change the taste and image of their brand.
Domino's started an ad campaign promising they would make their pizzas better. In the campaign, the managers admitted their basic product was awful, promised to change
it entirely, and asked for another chance. This honest self-deprecating humor worked for their tasteless cardboard pizza. People started calling in orders again and
Domino’s climbed back up to the top.”

What do you think of using self-deprecation (i.e., criticizing oneself) in ads? Do you think it always works for a company to admit their product is not good? When do
you think this tactic will work and when do you think it might fail? (no right or wrong answer, I want to know your well-thought, well-stated opinion).
