Informational interview

  1. When you finish your interview(s), you will TYPE (double-spaced) a 1-page summary of what you learned
from your interviewee(s). I will be grading based on style, spelling, grammar, typos, etc (I will subtract ONE
POINT per error of any kind). Include an opening paragraph with the name, position and organization of the
person/people you interviewed. Also, tell me why you chose to interview that person in particular.
    RECOMMENDATIONS:
  2. Set up your interviews early enough so that if anyone cancels, you will still be able to reschedule another
interviewee and turn in the paper by the assigned due date. Remember, I do not accept late work!!!
  3. Identify yourself as a Baylor student when you are scheduling your interviews.
  4. Know the questions on your schedule well enough so you do not have to rely too heavily on the notes
    you bring with you.
  5. Google “Questions to ask in an Informational Interview” for help
  6. Research interviewee in advance to avoid asking Q’s you should already know the answer to
