IG 1 Order Description [ Information Governance ] Case A: What Price Privacy? Regulating Delivery Drones* [1750 words] You are a member of a team of Information Management Consultants, who have been commissioned by Ofgov, an independent regulator of digital innovation in the UK. • Your task is to provide a balanced but discriminating argument in support of how to regulate one of the digital innovations currently in its portfolio. Each of the cases highlights a number of implications for balancing economic and ethical interests surrounding the handling of our personal information and data. • The commission has asked each team of consultants to review one of the cases; and to provide a coherent argument in support of how the handling of any personal identifying information (PII) can be regulated most effectively. • Ofgov have stipulated that the review should be undertaken by drawing on Lessig’s regulatory framework “A Dot’s Life”.
