- Question 1: Using the examples presented for displaying an image in Matlab together with those for accessing pixel locations, investigate adding and subtracting a scalar value from an individual location, i.e. WM= 1(i,j)+2$ and i(i,fit i(i,j)-25. Start by using the grayscale %aid’ example image and pixel location 1(100,20). What is the effect on the greyscale color of adding and subtracting?
- Based on your answer to Question 1, use the “for” construct in Matlab to loop over all the pixels in the image and brighten or darken the image.
- The following 5-bit small image small image has gray values in the range 0 to 19. Draw the histogram corresponding to these gray levels and then perform the contrast stretching and draw the resulting histogram and small image with new gray values.
