As a result, businesses now have to review and invest in a more diverse and inclusive working environment during and post the pandemic. It could be noted that the impact of emotional well-being amongst diverse employees could be felt more severely with in the developing world. Excessive working hours it seems are becoming standard amongst the employed, the effect on women appears to be much more extensive especially relating to safety in the work place and the effect on families at home. Thus, single-parent females and single income earners who are taking care of parents, together with restricted employment opportunities may well be causing significant psychological stress amongst the diverse and inclusive employed. Therefore, leaders must review and explore better opportunities to provide acceptable​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​ and more accommodating cooperation for those employees that require it.
