Order DescriptionA 76 year old Indigenous Grandmother - Mary, attends an immunisation clinic with her two Grandchildren, a one year old girl - Sarah 31/3/16 and a three and a half year old boy Mark- 1/8/13, whom she has just commenced caring for and asks that the children be immunised. Mary informs the immunisation nurse that the children have not received any immunisations at all. Mary also states that her last immunisations were also as a child. 1. Using the National Guidelines for Immunisation and the current Immunisation Handbook, identify the immunisation schedule most suitable for each child in your state/Territory, including any opportunistic vaccinations for extended family. 2. Evaluate potential challenges and strategies to maximising immunisation uptake in this case. 3. Justify and support your responses with reference to relevant, current literature.
