I would like the research paper to focus on the inadequate treatment of detainees in ICE prison systems and the lack of medical and legal services provided or available. The fact that even though the detainees are illegal they should still have the same rights afforded to all U.S citizens to a fairness to certain rights regardless of incarceration. I would like the paper to also have statistical information on the deaths, sickness of both children and adults since the effective dates of recent immigration policies and since the increase in illegal immigrants at the Mexican border. Highlight the fact that there are agencies that are helping support legal services for illegal immigrants, but be stern about the fact that there needs to be a change in the treatment in these facilities. Also express the low staffing for the proceedings of immigration courts due to limited judges. Please provide a good amount of citations to support facts and documented issues.
