Sample Answer
Strategic human resource management (SHRM) is a systematic approach to managing people in an organization in order to achieve its strategic goals. SHRM is based on the belief that people are an organization’s most important asset, and that their skills, knowledge, and motivation are essential to its success.
There are many different definitions of SHRM, but they all share a common focus on the alignment of human resource practices with the organization’s strategic goals. This alignment ensures that the organization is attracting, developing, and retaining the right people to achieve its objectives.
