Order Description
Your paper must be five to seven pages in length, typewritten, 12 point type, double-spaced with one inch margins all the way around.
You must use a minimum of five separate sources of reliable historical evidence: NO Wikipedia. Sources must be academic, including online sources. UMUC’s Library has many sources, particularly in JSTOR (a social sciences resource), Library of Congress, etc.; (there are MANY academic sources online). If in doubt, check with me.
use Chicago (aka Turabian) style to cite your sources in either footnotes or endnotes. DO NOT use parenthetical citations. The ‘format’ option on your computer will give you a choice of which to use.
Cite your Bibliographic sources on a separate “Bibliography” page attached as the last page of your paper.
