Topic: Health Agencies Order Description Read Chapter 14 (file uploaded). Pubic health is managed at several levels in the U.S., each with their specific health function. Federal health agencies look more at surveillance and control for the U.S. population. State agencies do a lot of the maintenance, while local health agencies seem to tackle the public health risks at their source. Pubic health is managed at several levels in the U.S. 1. Write a short introduction paragraph. 2. Identify the various levels of responsibility in federal, state, and local health agencies in the U.S. Think about the priorities, roles and duties, populations served, statutes and regulation, funding sources, and efficacy for each of the levels of responsibility in federal, state, and local health agencies in the U.S. 3. How do these levels of responsibilities relate to the social determinants of health, including living conditions, unemployment rates, water and sanitation? Identify similarities and differences.
