Gun control

This is a paper that needs to be at least 550 words long and contain 5 paragraphs. This paper is also a paper that is against gun control so it's an essay about how its bad and the adverse effects of gun control and what it means for U.S citizens. In your rough Draft you need: 1) Introduction: The introduction must include a strong thesis statement that clearly outlines your argument and how you will support it. 2) Supporting paragraphs: Supporting paragraphs must use good sources to support your thesis. All paragraphs need to relate back to your thesis and follow a logical argument. 3) Technical formatting citations: You paper must have a MLA in text citations and works cited page. There are two very important technical pieces to a research paper. The in text citations, also called parenthetical citations, and the corresponding work cited page. Your paper MUST have both for the paper to pass. IN TEXT CITATION (parenthetical) : These are used in the paper to tell me what parts of the paper came from which sources. This must correspond correctly to the works cited page. Watch the following video on in text citation (parenthetical citations). WORKS CITED: A works cited page is a list of every source you used to write the paper. Remember that when you summarize a source you must cite it. This means that even if you did NOT quote it but you looked at it to help you write the paper you MUST cite it in the paper and it must appear on the works cited page. If you list a source on the works cited page that means you used it is some way to write the paper. For every source listed on your works cited page you must also have a matching in text citation. Your rough draft must include a correctly formatted works cited page and paragraphs with in text citations and a works cited page. 4) Conclusion: The conclusion needs to summarize your argument, recap you the paper. It should NOT introduce new information.
