Google and Microsoft are currently the top two companies for office productivity tools in use today. Individuals,
schools, and companies/enterprises utilize their products.
You may already use Google and/or Microsoft products in your personal, professional, and/or school work. The
following video presents a helpful comparison, especially if you are on the fence as to which product to
use…Google Docs, Sheets, Slides or Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. This presentation also includes
Open Office, which is basically Microsoft Office, but with fewer features and is FREE.
Instructions:
- After watching the video, post the products you use for personal, professional and school work and why you
use those products. Specify the software products you use, for example, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Google
Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
If you do not currently use any of these products, tell what software products you currently use. Also, say which
of the Google vs. Microsoft products you think you might consider using and how that product(s) could work for
you personally, professionally, and for school work.
