Gender and Society Analyzing Gender Around Us (25% of final Grade): The goal of this paper (6 to 8 pages double spaced) is to apply your sociological perspective on gender to the world around us using your sociological research skills. In this paper, you should explore how roles of males and females are differentiated, created, and maintained by society, and the consequences these gender roles have for men and women in society. You MUST substantially incorporate class readings, concepts and lecture. 1) Write in essay format with an introduction paragraph, a body of the paper comprised of multiple paragraphs, and conclusion paragraph.
