WEIGHTING Essay Outline 15% of your final grade Essay 30% of your final grade PURPOSE Your essay should persuade a particular group (consumer, investor) that they should not buy / invest in a commodity. Your essay should refer to 3 negative impacts of the commodity. These can be environmental, social, political, health-related or economic. TOPIC You should choose topics that are in the Content area of Blackboard. ORGANIZATION Your essay should have an introduction, three body paragraphs (each discussing a negative impact of the commodity) and a conclusion. SOURCES You should use a minimum of 5 sources. All internet sources should be .org (not Wikipedia) or .edu You may also use good quality newspapers e.g. The National, The Guardian, The Independent LENGTH The essay should be between 1,000 and 1,200 words, include in-text citations and a bibliography.
