The reading this week talked about the Free Soil Party, which was formed due to the issue of slavery. Looking at the political or social issues today, if you were to form a new Party, what would it be called and what would be your platform? The Civil War saw the U.S. divide into two separate entities. Do you think that this could be possible today? If so, what would be the issue that you think would cause such a division?
