Nursing Legislation and Advocacy on the FNA website
The FNA website provides a number of resources for nurses who are interested in getting involved in advocacy. These resources include:
- A Nursing Legislation and Advocacy page that identifies the following four ways for nurses to get involved:
- Become a Legislative District Coordinator (LDC): LDCs are responsible for representing FNA’s positions on legislative issues to their local lawmakers.
- Attend FNA Advocacy Days: Advocacy Days is an annual event that brings nurses from across Florida to Tallahassee to advocate for their patients and their profession.
