- Review the video External Organizations and Markets: The Mind of a Leader 1. As you are watching the video, consider how you would go about choosing the ideal candidate to work in the global market.
- Navigate to the threaded discussion below and prepare a post that answers the following questions:
a. Research the country of Romania. What information about the country and the candidate might be useful when choosing a candidate to go to this country? Provide a detailed answer that demonstrates clear insightful critical thinking.
b. What questions would you ask each of three candidates, if you were interviewing them for the assignment? Provide a detailed explanation that demonstrates insightful critical thinking.
c. Which candidate of the three you interviewed would you select? Provide a detailed explanation that demonstrates insightful critical thinking. - Your initial response should be 200 to 300 words in length, include two academic sources that are properly cited, and is due by the end of the fourth day of the workshop.
PART 2
Now conduct a critical analysis of postings by two of your classmates by the end of the workshop.
a. The topic of your discussion response should be your classmate’s posting and should be written as if you were reviewing their posting in an academic journal. Your discussion response should therefore answer the following questions as applicable:
i. Were the arguments of your classmate articulate and logical? Were their facts correct?
ii. Was the interpretation your classmate provided reasonable and consistent with experts in the field? Was your classmate consistent with both the substance and intent of their references?
b. The focus for your critical analysis is not whether or not you agree with your classmate, but how well was their position presented. Each response should be at least 150 words in length. Please strive to make your discussion responses ones that cause iron to sharpen iron.
