  Part 1: Select five current online news articles (From within the past year). Each article must relate a different events and/or people. Part 2: Relate each major event described in the modern news articles to historical events in early European history. All direct quotes must use proper grammatical format (i.e. WATCH the punctuation): a. “quote” (author last name, page #). b. “quote,” sentence (author last name, page #). c. Any paper not adhering to correct punctuation will lose ½ a letter grade. 5. Include a bibliography for your references. You may choose any approved academic citation style (i.e. MLA, APA). a. Do not use a program to generate the bibliography. b. If any of the sources list n.p., n.d., the paper will lose ½ a letter grade.
