Ethical claims made by Singer with implications

Peter Singer (in the selections from One World Now) discusses the ethics of how the world might make
progress in dealing with problems of climate change and/or global warming. Much of his discussion has
implications for the ethics of business activity (e.g., in the fossil fuel industries and other related aspects of
business). Explain and evaluate* one or two important ethical claims made by Singer with implications about
business. Relate your discussion to the ethics of socio-economic “development” and specifically business.
Consider and respond to one objection to the claim(s) you discuss. Consider some of the possible remedies
that Singer discusses. Be sure to explain and justify your own ethical views about the issues you discuss.
