Order Description
Bright idea 1 (10%)
1. Find a problem that you want to solve and write it down concisely in a sentence. This may be related to a wicked problem or mega trend you have studied.
2. Explore the problem by using the * Stretch and Squeeze technique (see Additional resources section of this document).
3. Create new Ideas: Go through each separate statement you made in the Stretch and Squeeze exercise and write down new ideas that the statement triggers for you.
o You might find lots of ideas for some statements and few for others. Don't expect each idea to be a solution for the whole problem.
o It will probably solve only part of the problem. That's okay.
o Write a paragraph telling us what you think is the most interesting idea you came up with and why.
4. Submit everything you wrote for steps 1 to 3 above.

2. Pick a product or service that you feel needs innovating
3. Use the La Salle Matrix template to create as many new ideas as you can.
4. Put your ideas into a list which groups similar ideas together.
5. Highlight any ideas that you feel may have the potential to be transformative innovations
6. Write a paragraph telling us which idea you would nominate as the best for developing further and why.
7. Submit your responses to steps 2 to 6
