Engineering project

Use a number of the application programs you learned this term. You should be able to use such application programs as WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT, and do research using the Internet. You will also have to do an oral presentation to the class using the PowerPoint presentation you develop as part of your final project. Engineering_Project_1 Choose a topic in engineering and from that topic write a WORD report of about 5-7 page. Make it somewhat narrow to limit the project and make it manageable. The paper should will discuss current issue related to technology and its’ professional and ethical impact to society. For example, don’t use microprocessors as a topic, use mobile computing microprocessor or server microprocessors. Create 2 EXCEL tables and 2 graphs based on material related to your report. Mobile Computing, Cyber security, Network Security, Privacy, Social Media, Wireless Technology, Mobile Apps, Cloud computing, Hacking, Telecommunications Act, Net Neutrality, Internet, Artificial intelligence and automation, Self-Driving Cars The report should be in a technical paper format. Header across the page, content in two columns. The paper will start with an abstract that summarize the main ideas of your paper. The conclusion should be at the end. Site at least two sources. The sources should appear as endnotes in your paper. Use the Internet to search for material on that topic. Site internet sources by their URL. Copy any suitable text and images that will be useful in your report. Include at least two images and Graphs with labels on Axis and title. The report should be double spaced, 12-point font. Do not plagiarize, gather information but put it in YOUR words. Cite all references (sources) include on a separate page. The Report should contain the following elements described below Create a separate cover page containing: The TECH 100 Final Term Project Should also appear in the paper’s footer Your name Should also appear in the paper’s footer Your class Some Appropriate Graphic The Instructors name The Date Lab Submitted Submit this assignment with cover sheet, the pages mentioned above and a summary as one-word document by the due date on May 1st, 2018. Grade The final project grade is 20% of your final course grade. The Word and the PowerPoint presentations will be weighted equally according to the following criteria: Word document Correct usage of the formatting components as were discussed during the course. Appropriate illustration of the text by the graphics, tables and charts. Proper attribution of the sources. PowerPoint presentation Effective illustration of the project. Usage of preset or original design. Avoid plagiarism, inadvertent or otherwise, as discussed in library literacy session.
