Embalming Discussion

The purpose of this discussion board is for you to post an evaluation of an embalming you personally
observed.
Please address the following:
Give a brief description of the type of arrangements the embalming was being prepared for (Catholic service,
etc.).
Give a description of the condition of remains?
What issues and/or conditions were evident in the remains (Edema, emaciation, decomp, etc.)
What manner of injection was used and why?
What type of chemicals were used and why?
Was there anything that the embalmer did you thought was novel or exceptionally interesting in application?
Why?
Was there anything the embalmer did that you would have done differently? Why?
Do you feel the family will be happy with the results of the procedure?
