The electronic medical record reduce cost and errors. The benefits of using Electronic Health Records improves care for patients. The electronic medical record is good if not abused, like instances companies denying coverage for people with preexisting conditions, but due to regulation called the affordable health care act that loophole has been patched. But insurance companies will always find different loopholes to exploit and use it to boost their profit margins. For example currently most health insurances have a soft cap at $1million, meaning if your lifetime medical expense exceeds that amount your coverages drops. An MRI can cost $10,000 per visit therefor that limit can be easily reached. Also the soft cap shrinks due to simple economics called inflation, which is 1.5-2% annually. Meaning if the soft cap stays at $1 million over a 20 year period the actual coverage decreases by $346,855

Nano Robotics will be the future of medicine. Nano-bots can travel inside the body in fight off bacterial and viral using physical destruction methods, while antibiotics using chemical methods and soon to be ineffective. Further down the road Nano robotics can cure aging, by replacing damaged or missed copied/division cells proactively.
