policy's villain or just the elected official responsible for a policy area. Identify key administrative and personal factors (e.g., laws of the jurisdiction, official
authority over agencies, the official's political philosophy/platform) that connect that elected official to your chosen policy/issue. Give at least two examples
how the courts and/or the legislature have been engaged to elevate the prominence of your issue (find entities that have sued, or threatened to, over your
issue, explaining the basis; or find a legislator or legislative committee that investigated or drafted legislation, passed a law or otherwise weighed in
