ELAR Strategy Notebook

Each teacher candidate is required to gather resources and activities from the
Internet/other sources for teaching content through reading and language/arts in
elementary, depending on his/her certification area. Specific categories
must be addressed in this notebook that includes spelling, comprehension, vocabulary,
fluency, and assessment. Use strategies that cover a range of texts, which include journal entries, memoirs, poetry, fiction, nonfiction, persuasion, narrative,
expository, etc.
