I chose the TED Talk "The Power of Vulnerability" by Brené Brown. I was interested in this talk because I have always been fascinated by the power of vulnerability. Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston and has spent over 12 years studying vulnerability. In her talk, she shares her research and insights on the topic.

I learned a lot from Brown's talk, but two of the most important things I learned were:

Vulnerability is not weakness. In fact, it is the opposite. Vulnerability is courage. It is the willingness to be open to hurt, but also to joy. It is the willingness to be seen, but also to be rejected.
Vulnerability is essential for connection. We cannot connect with others if we are not willing to be vulnerable. We cannot build trust or intimacy if we are always putting up walls.
