The appropriate leadership style for this organization would be transformational leadership. Transformational leaders are able to inspire and motivate their followers to achieve great things. They are also able to create a shared vision for the future and help their followers see how their work fits into that vision. This is important in this situation because the organization needs to be able to unite the community and address the problem in a way that is both effective and ethical.
