- The film should be watched from beginning to end, while taking note of the following: a. Who are the central characters? b. What are the central conflicts?
c. What is the main characters’ journey?
- Identify key scenes where these questions are answered. Parts of these scenes will most likely be used for your trailer. You should also take note of key
quotes and sequences.
- While taking notes, consider the structure of a movie trailer, and the elements needed to adhere to a specific genre.
- From the .mp4 file and begin extracting the key scenes, sequences and quotes.
- Arrange and edit the footage.
- Add Music and Sound Effects where necessary, most likely the film’s music or score will be easiest to use.
- Add Moving Text where necessary, ie “In a world, where justice is dead…”
- Add the film’s Title at the end.
- Add your name and final project, before or after the trailer.
