Draft Proposal
Order Description
Draft Proposal
It is now time to start putting together the pieces you have created so far by drafting a program proposal. We will still be working on this draft during the remaining two weeks, but at this point, you have enough material to begin pulling it all together in a structured way.
This week you will submit a draft proposal that includes the following elements. For each element, you should have 2 parts. First, define/describe what you have selected (i.e. list your outcomes, list your course titles, etc.). Second, explain, using references to theory and research from your readings and resources why you made the selections you did and what theoretical basis went into the design process.
Additional requirements include the following:
•Title page
•Brief (1-2 paragraphs) description of your proposed program and its intended audience
•At least 3 instructional goals and at least 5 learning outcomes
•An overview of the learning materials to be used in the program (330 words)
•An overview of the learning strategies to be used in the program (330 words)
•A list of courses included in the program
•A full course description for one course in the program (1 paragraph)
•Course learning outcomes for one course in the program (the same one selected for the description)
•A description of the key assessments to be used in one course in the program (the same one selected for the description, i.e., discussion, written papers, portfolios, etc.) (330-660 words)
•References page
•APA format
