In a focused argumentative essay, analyze a particular philosophical issue, concept, or a particular question,
and argue for a particular conclusion under a chosen moral theory. As with any well-written argumentative
paper, this does not mean you should argue only your position. You must give due attention to opposing
arguments and carefully address them as fully as possible. This requires that you have a precise thesis and
that your position and argument are clearly presented.
Philosophical issues are complex. Consequently, any treatment of them is going to be complex as well. Given
the rather limited space available to do this, it is important that your writing be as concise as possible. To this
effect, you must be precise in your arguments, addressing only what needs to be addressed without deviating
from the topic or losing any clarity of meaning.. Citations, Bibliography, and Cover Page should be in Chicago
Manuel Style. Please read instructions in the attached files. "Does the belief in god change a person?" is the
topic.
