Disability and Performance

Analyze how autism is a perceived disability by others, and those that are good
at "performing" normally are seen as being high functioning and therefore more "normal". However, being
high functioning on the autistic spectrum only means you are better at masking and performing the role of a
neurotypical person. The case that is to be made is that disability is only seen as a disadvantage by those
who don't have one, and those on the autistic spectrum have a different processing system that has other
advantageous skills.
